Work Injury
HIJAMA
:
(cupping therapy) is a traditional treatment where special cups are placed on the skin to create suction, improving blood circulation, removing toxins, and promoting natural healing.
In wet cupping, small controlled cuts are made to draw out stagnant blood, while dry cupping uses suction only without cuts.
It’s often practiced for pain relief, detoxification, stress reduction, and overall wellness, and is mentioned in prophetic medicine as Sunnah practice.
SPEECH THERAPY :
Speech therapy is a healthcare service that helps people improve their ability to speak, understand language, and communicate effectively.
It also addresses problems with voice, fluency (stammering), and swallowing.
Speech therapists (Speech-Language Pathologists) work with children and adults to treat speech delays, language disorders, speech after stroke, voice issues, and other communication
challenges.
SPORTS THERAPY
:
Sports therapy by a physiotherapist is the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of sports-related injuries using physiotherapy techniques.
It helps athletes and active individuals recover from injuries, improve strength and flexibility, correct movement patterns, and safely return to sport while reducing the risk of future injury.
It combines manual therapy, exercise programs, taping, electrotherapy, and performance
training.
WORK INJURY
:
Work-related injuries physiotherapy focuses on assessing, treating, and preventing pain or movement problems caused by workplace activities.
Treatment may include pain relief techniques (manual therapy, electrotherapy, heat/cold), exercises to restore strength and flexibility, posture correction, ergonomic advice, and gradual
return-to-work programs.
The goal is to speed recovery, prevent
re-injury, and help the worker perform safely and comfortably.
Acupuncture and Acupressure
:
A traditional healing methods based on Chinese medicine, both working on the body’s “energy pathways” (meridians) to restore balance and relieve symptoms.
Acupuncture –Uses very thin needles inserted at specific points on the body to stimulate energy flow, reduce pain, and promote healing. Commonly used for chronic pain, stress, migraines, and rehabilitation support.
Acupressure – Uses manual pressure from fingers, palms, or special tools instead of needles on the same points.
Suitable for people afraid of needles and often used for relaxation, pain relief, and improving circulation.
Both aim to improve overall health, relieve discomfort, and support natural healing without heavy medication.
PHYSIOTHERAPY TREATMENTS
:
Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession that helps restore movement, reduce pain, and improve function after injury, illness, or disability.
It uses exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy, education, and lifestyle advice.
Conditions treated by physiotherapists include:
•Musculoskeletal: Back pain, neck pain, arthritis, sports injuries, fractures, sprains, strains.
• Neurological: Stroke, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, neuropathy.
•Cardiopulmonary : Post-heart surgery rehab, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma.
• Pediatric : Developmental delays, Erb’s palsy, congenital conditions.
